If you know me, you know I love trivia. I’m the guy who can’t scroll past an online quiz without taking it. “What Type of Tree Are You Based on Your Taste in Sandwiches?” Sure. I’m in. But beyond the silliness, there’s something deeply satisfying about trivia—it taps into my curiosity, my competitive streak, and my need to shout random facts into the void.

Growing up, Jeopardy! was one of my favorite shows. Still is. I love the structure of it, the elegance, the way knowledge gets turned into entertainment. But I also love the flair of it—the lights, the pacing, the rhythm of the game. That showman spirit is part of what drives me as a theater artist. And that’s why I’m so excited to bring Trivia Night into our regular show lineup at The Bit Theater in Aurora, IL.

Some of my best memories are from my trivia crew back when I lived in New Hampshire. Every Monday, we’d hit up our local bar and play as a team we proudly named “Dead Animal Tea Party.” (Don’t ask. Or do.) We weren’t always the smartest team, but we were always having the most fun.

That’s what I want Trivia Night at The Bit to be:
