Ready to level up your improv training? This advanced improv class at The Bit Theater in Aurora, IL—just minutes from Naperville—dives deep into two classic long-form formats, La Ronde and The Apartment. Perfect for graduates of Second City or experienced performers looking to expand their comedic toolkit.
Explore two iconic improv forms:
- La Ronde – A character-based structure where scenes rotate in a circular pattern, revealing rich relationships and recurring character pairings.

Led by seasoned performer and director Mike Herman, this eight-week course will sharpen your scenic skills, character commitment, and form mastery. The class culminates in a public performance of one of the two forms at The Bit Theater’s popular Friday Night Triple Threat Show, one of the top comedy events in the western suburbs.
