About the Play

The Last Flapper is a vivid one-woman theatrical portrait of Zelda Fitzgerald, one of the most fascinating women of the Jazz Age. Funny, elegant, impulsive, and deeply human, Zelda reflects on fame, love, art, and the cost of living as both muse and creator. William Luce’s script gives a single actress the chance to fully embody this iconic figure, creating an evening of theater that feels intimate, immediate, witty, and haunting.
