Curated and hosted by local comedy producers Shawn Blakely & Tabish Siddiqui, this lineup features comics tearing up the Midwest scene—each bringing their unique style and voice to our intimate stage.

🌟 This Month’s Stand-Up Lineup:

Ricardo Rivera

A fast‑rising voice in Chicago’s queer‑comedy scene, Ricardo Rivera (aka @badboiiiriri) brings high‑energy storytelling and razor‑sharp punch lines to every room he plays. He’s already notched coveted spots at Laugh Factory Chicago and Zanies, a résumé many comics chase for years. Expect vivid slice‑of‑life bits, spicy social commentary, and the kind of crowd work that turns a set into a party.

Des Mulrooney

Based in St. Charles, Des Mulrooney is a clean‑but‑clever comic who’s won multiple Illinois stand‑up contests and tours the Midwest opening for nationally touring headliners. You might also spot him acting—most recently in the 2023 indie feature The Road Dog.

Matt Drufke

A veteran of nearly 18 years in the suburban‑Chicago circuit, Matt Drufke juggles roles as comedian, writer, show‑producer, and (if invited) cheese‑plate assassin. He hosts a weekly showcase, writes for the humor site Fancy Boys Club, and is known as the “voice of reason” in Chicago comedy—right up until he’s roasting you.

Cat Amato

Naperville native Cat Amato blends 10 years of improv chops with polished stand‑up writing she honed on competitive speech teams. A regular at suburban open mics (and the yarn aisle of any craft store), Cat’s playful sets cover family, fandom, and her sworn devotion to dogs. She also co‑hosts the Still Not Friday showcase.

Josh Chuboff

Rolling Meadows’ own Josh Chuboff has been entertaining audiences nationwide for more than a decade, from club dates to Lake‑Michigan cruise ships. Frequently tagged “Best of the Fest” in stand‑up competitions, he mixes autobiographical stories with sly jabs at Chicago sports—still chasing hometown hero Jimmy Garoppolo for local‑boy fame.
